Was just reading through the TSN website and came across the following article about a Cdn gal at the US Women's Amateur.

The funny thing is I went to high school with her brother in Mtl. I grew up in Kirkland, the same town as Lisa, played hockey with her brother (Mike) too. In the summer I was a member at Beaconsfield golf course and the Meldrum's were members at Royal Montreal. I was lucky to play Royal Mtl numerous times. The deal was that we would be dropped off at Royal providing that we take his sister with us. We hated taking her with us because she would always slow us down. Now she would easily beat us blindfolded. She play at the University of Oklahoma and was the Canadian Women's Amateur Champion for the past 2 years.

It's really nice to see another Canadian succeeding at golf. It's even nicer to say that I beat her!!!!!!!!!!!! (back when she was 10.... Shhhhhh LOL)

Way to go Lisa!!!!
