    a good imported beer?

The last few weeks I have been trying some imported beer. Drinking a Kilkenny as I wright this, I have tried Staropramen, Guiness, Stella Artois, Becks and Pilsner Urquell. Just wondering what else I should try, dont really know why I started doing this but, oh well. LMK whats good!

If you enjoyed Kilkenny and Guiness, you should also give boddingtons and old speckled hen a shot. Also, when enjoying such ales from a can, you must poor it properly. Poor half the glass, then allow it to settle (as you are doing this, enjoy watching the bubbles cascade down the side of the glass). ONce it has settled, you may then poor the rest of your beer. It sounds snobbish, but it really tastes better that way.

Anoher delicious import is Hoegarden. What type of beer do you prefer?

Hey Mat,give the Old Speckeld Hen a shot.Been drinking imports for about 15 years now and i find this to be a reel good ale. There are others out there that are worth trying out and LCBO have a very good selection.Good luck in your quest.

Golden Pheasant is one of the best European beer's out there. Long kneck bottle with some gold leaf, it's hard to miss.

Yes, its all in good fun. I am sure they are just good friends.
You must admit they would make a good couple.

    here's a few suggestions:

For summer beers, I prefer a lighter beer and quite like wheat or white beers. Hacker Pschorr is one of my favs (from Bavaria in Germany). Also try Paulaner Hefe Weiss (wheat/white). Hoegaarden is also nice as well and a similar flavour. Put a slice of lemon in it.

Here's another suggestion, buy your beer at the LCBO. Much better selection and you can mix and match or buy single bottles, that way, if you don't like it, you don't have a whole case to finish.

By the way, there are so many good microbrewerys now in Canada worth trying. I quite like the Mill Street Stock Ale (very light) and their Coffee Porter (very dark).
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

Although not imported, I agree with Jeff on Mill St. Stock Ale. A very nice ale indeed. Now one of my favourites along with Corona and MGD.
