Tips/Drills for inside-out swing path? re: slice.

I slice. Here's what I think is happening:

I think I'm coming over my right shoulder. I seem to have a tendency to put too much upper body into my swing. Think I might be starting my swing with my shoulders, actually.

I've found that I can compensate for my slice by setting up with my right foot slightly back. Doing this I can go fairly straight with anything up to my 3-wood. This however, makes it tough to shift my weight forward, and is certainly no solution.

Wondering if anyone knows any good drills or tips to get me starting my downsing actually down and getting inside-to-out.

Also, any tips on how to draw/hook might help. I figure that if I learn to draw while compensating for my slice, then slowly return my stance/swing to neutral while still being able to draw, I might end up with alot more control and a better path to my swing.

Also also, let me know if I'm completely wrong. I'm just going by what I've read.

After taking a lesson, the 3 ball drill is working well to help me stop slicing so far. Just put one ball inside and in front of the ball your hitting, and another outside and behind. Then hit your ball without moving the other 2 balls. Its a good way to change your swing path, at least for me.
Slice, hook, or straight down the middle. It all looks the same on the score card.

    2. while keeping your feet in the same position place a peice of duct tape on the grond starting at the ball and going back to youat a 35* angle.
    3. this will force your club to travel over the tape showing you an inside swing...

IMO, much better than spending $70+ on the inside appraoch, all you need is a roll of duct or masking tape.

if this is confusing to you i can draw something up for you in paint, but im kind of in the middle of class right now.

Thanks, guys. I've tried both these suggestions, and they seemed to help.

I seem to have figured out at least two problems with my swing:

1- Swing plane was too flat. I now concentrate on a take-away along the target line, and then a nice, high backswing.

2- Pushing with my right hand. I concentrate on leading with my left hand, and I now finally understand what "releasing the club head" means. Rather than trying to muscle it around with my right hand, it now feels natural.

    I'm improving.
