Wilson Staff 50/50 Golf Balls

As a long-time Pro V1 user, I would not have thought it likely that I would be inclined to change to another brand of ball. I was wrong. This morning a friend of mine lent me one of the new Wilson Staff 50/50 balls. Wow. What a discovery. The ball has a soft feel, and rockets off both woods and irons with no noticeable loss of distance. Admittedly, recent persistent injuries have forced me to swing at 50% power, but I suspect that the results I noticed today would be similar were I swinging at 95%.

Best of all is the fact that they cost only $24 a dozen. Compared to what I have been paying to seed the woods, lakes and streams of the Ottawa area with Pro VIs, this is a fantastic bargain. Have any of you tried these balls? What do you think?
