How to get rid of the glue on clubs?

    Hi everyone,

What do you guys use to take out the glue that insists on staying on the shaft after we remove the label price and other sticks?

Two words. Goo Gone. Works like a charm.
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

Rubbing alchol works to get rid of stickers easy as well.

A word of warning for those using acetone. Make sure to use it only in a well ventilated room. Over-exposure to the fumes can kill you.

    Thanks for the ideas guys!!!

I used my wife's acetone (the male version) and it worked fine....just a warning, after scrubbing a bit, the black ink started to appear on the paper I was using so, don't scrub too much or you're going to see the soul of your shaft

I didn't use peanut butter as I only had nutella and thought my bag would attract squirrels on the course

Any of you guys with nicely finished clubs---rubbing alcoho-nail polish remover-lacquer thinner and acetone are all basically the same except for the strength. Rubbing alcohol being the weakest. Goo gone the best---but if your really cheap---rub hard with your thumb and it should warm up and roll into a ball--the glue that is

Use a hairdryer to heat the sticker's adhesive then remove slowly. Works for me everytime!
