well the no brainer thing is a little (sic) off. i mean there were 9 guys ahead of him on the workd rankings, why not take anyone of them? and he is injured, and he is coming off a pretty bad showing , i think it really would have been a no brainere to have picked anyone esle. now ames would have had more "no brainer" status even seeing as he had a pretty good run at the PGA and is ahead of mike in stanbings. weir most likely got the pick becasue of his role in brining it to montreal and the puch to have him out weighed players desire to pick the best players for the team.

anyway what is done is done, but it doesn't mean it is right
