    Best Practice Facilities

Which course/ range has the best practice facilities open to the public?

    What prices do they charge?

    Either Stonebridge or Loch March.

Both have grass ranges with plenty of targets, good putting greens, and short game areas.

A large bucket at SB will cost you $10 and tokens at LM (1 token = small bucket) is $5. One caveat on LM. I went during a tournament day during lunch and they weren't selling tokens that day.
Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

I think LM closes fairly early too (4ish?)

Noted your address and thought that the two choices may be a little out of your way. Meadows has a decent range with targets, but you hit off astro turf (showing my age?). A pitch/putt area below just a few steps from the East/South courses. I heard recently that Pineview are to put in a driving range, but don't know if their status as a public course/City Owned facility will allow it. Hammond has recently opened their driving range but I have not been there and don't know if they have a pitch/put area across the road with the range.

Great practice facilities for sure. 2 putting greens a chipping/pitching area 2 sand bunkers, and a range. Cost..NOTING ....with your round!

Kevin Haimesis the best practice facility handsdown.

Their attention to detail is excellent. Little details such as mats with alignment and ball position guides go a long way. The short game area is spectacular. They really have done well to distinguish themselves as a practice facilty and not a range.
Unfortunately I live in the East end and don't have enough time on my lunch to practice there effectively. I would love to see ole Haimo bring his talents to the East. We could certainly use it.

You should see the one they are making at the canadian right now. They are just clearing the forest area that is beyond the current driving range // to the warm up hole. Its awesome, i can't describe it but you should go to their club house and see the drawing they have of it
