IMO- it's a toss up between The Marshe's and Eagle Creek.

    Clubhouses

Depends what you mean by "best"? but here is my opinion:

Private Courses: Rivermead, Royal Ottawa, Hunt Club

    Semi-Private/Clublink: Kanata Lakes, Predator, Outouais

Public: Loch March, Eagle Creek(word of mouth), Glen Mar(new), Marshes, Nation

Tremblant courses have nice clubhouses, but I don't think we consider that in the region.

My overall best pick would be Loch March, but i haven't seen the new Eagle Creek one yet.

What do you mean by best?

Best looking from the outside, best looking interior, best food, best waitresses?

I've been at several tournaments at Loch March, nice from outside, plain inside and I found the food a little plain too.

Best food so far is the Marshes. Haven't been to EC yet. Predator is OK too. (Try La Matre when you get a chance. I ate there Saturday mmmmmmmmmmm and the Club house is spectacular)

EC looks great from the pictures I've seen, I'll get out there sometime this year

EC has a very nice clubhouse, and a great patio view of the par 5 18th. I haven't eaten a full meal, but the setting (and interior) is nice.

Big fan of the clubhouse at Hylands, not the newest but always a great time had by all

Depending on the definition of local - Montebello is my view of what a clubhouse should be. Dark wood, comfortable locker room, decent bar, great view of the first tee and the eighteenth green from the patio.
