Sindelar Says 'No' to Open
Call me crazy but this guy "Joey Sindelar" qualifies for the Open but doesn't go because he wants to play the BC Open. He states "this year's fit wasn't quite right". Hello it's the Open Championship one of the best if not the best tournament. You gotta shake your head, take your family for the trip, they'd probably love it. The story can be fond here

Guess he knows nothing good would come from the open, and judging from today he may have been correct.

He knows that he has no chance to win the British Open, so he decides to play the B.C. Open. He'll probably make more money there anyways.

That's like being called up to the majors in baseball and deciding you'd rather stay in double-A where you got a shot at the batting title.

funny thing though.... he's sitting in 50th place after the 3rd round at the B.C. Open. He's not gonna make too much dough this weekend.
