Bethpage Black anyone?

So, a few months ago, somebody had posted a nice story about being invited to play at Bethpage Black near NYC.

Alot of people were jealous and some people, including myself, starting chatting about going there for a weekend road trip this summer.

Of course, I would have to clear it with the missus but... I'm only trying to gauge interest for now.

So, my availability would be mid-August or late September.

$4 reservation fee (per person?) + $120 US for green fee for non-residents.

Say we leave late Friday and drive all night. Play somewhere late Saturday, play Bethpage on Sunday and return afterwards.

Who's interested? (Saying yes doesn't force you but please only reply if you're seriously interested)

Pierre I too remember that thread - I'm interested - can't say that I can make it happen on the home front, but I'm definitely interested.

If you can spare the time, it's worth the drive.

From a getting a tee-time perspective, September or October are your best bets according to my host.

I have a buddy with whom I go to Malone with, and we've made mention that a trip to Bethpage would be memorable. I can scout him to see if he'd like to come.
