    Irish Hills

I have never played there but I am planning to play there this week. Any comments or can you compare to course?

    Thanks

Hmmm, it's never in the greatest shape whenever I've played it, and the layout is laborious and rather unexciting... but, it's still golf, as you've got to put it in the hole in as few strokes as you can.

Played there a couple of times this year(including just last week). Fairways are on the meadows side, but greens are finally in half decent shape(they were slowwww earlier this year). On the positive side, there are a few interesting holes, and the course is usually not very busy.

    Budget golf

Well, I managed to play it today… mix feelings about the course. I guess its ok for what I paid using the EC membership (15.00) but I would not play there using full price.

Having a hot day and playing behind a slow group on the front 9, I almost walk away. No one in the back 9 so I decided to stay…. The course was busy (twosomes and foursomes).

    Positives:
    - Staff friendly and easy going.
    - Easy access (15 minutes from home –Nepean)
    - Water 1.00 / Gatorades 2.00
    - 27 holes.

I will play again just to double check and get a better idea of the course. For a budget course I think is better than Champlain, Poplar Grove, Edelweiss and same idea as pineview, Metcalf.

It's a decent middel range course, it's not totally blah or anything.

Played there 2 weeks ago. Granted not lush fairways but very challenging course from the blues especially the first couple holes.
