    Exclamation Hi! New golfer here...

    Hi, there.
    I may actually be a little premature in even joining the forums here, as I haven't actually played a round of golf yet , but what the heck.

    I am planning, however, to give the game a try. I was gifted an ancient (read: woods made of wood) set of clubs, I've just finished reading Golf for Dummies (stop laughing, I'm serious), and I've been to the range a few times.

    At first glance, this seems like a friendly community for me to harass and assault with stupid questions, and perhaps even find someone to play golf with once in a while (unfortunately, none of my friends play golf).

    So here I am and there goes the neighbourhood!

    Welcome, This site is awesome and so is the game, although it may cause major emotional meltdowns occasionally. It is still worth it.
