Lower launch shaft
Hey guys so after a few issues at the start of the season i have finally gotten rid of my slice with my driver and have been hitting it consistenly straight if not a little pull to the right (Lefty) for the last 4 rounds. My Currrent set up is a Nike SQ 10.5 with a Mercury Pro Kevlar shaft in regular. I am finding that all thought i am hitting it really well and much further then i was with my slice i am having an issue with my ball flight getting too high to quickly and its causing me to loose distance.
Looking for suggestions on which shafts might help bring it down a bit.
Thanks for any help you can give

Not so much which shafts, but what characteristics in a shaft.
To lower the ballflight, you should be looking at firm/stiff tip shafts. And a lower torque will help as well. I'd like to see your new swing before you go switching shafts. In most cases, people that think they are hitting the ball too high, are actually hitting it on a an almost perfect angle."A life lived in fear of the new and the untried is not a life lived to its fullest." hey Geoff, i would like you too see it as well. As its night and day from last time we played. I have played a lot these last few days abd everybody has been commenting on how high i am hitting the ball, Wilster kept commenting on how high it came of the face and seemed to fall out of the sky, He actually recommended the bimatrix shaft with the steel tip as he was having the same issue and that seemed to work for him.
just looking for other suggestions

I have an old Bi-Matrix (old model) in r-flex I think you could have. But glad you've ironed out some issues. Maybe we'll get out sometime soon.

Is that the steel tip one??
yeah should be able to in the next few weeks as i have vacation comming up i'll send you a PM when i can. It seems that most of my issues with my driver was my face angle at address, with out realising it i was opening my face at adress and it was killing me, This was the help i got from one of the guys at Haime. If you remember you mentioned that i had no "POP" at impact well it feels and sounds like that has changed a bit as well.
Its nice to have convidence on the tee again!

Good to hear.
Yeah, its the steel tip one, but the older model that had the Rx in the graphics. It came from an Adams driver. I'll check it in the next couple of days to see what flex it is."A life lived in fear of the new and the untried is not a life lived to its fullest." M.Pare 10/09/08
