    Thousand Islands CC

    Just clicked one of Dan's banner ads here, to Thousand Islands CC... old tyme-y lookin' place. Anyone ever played there, just out of curiosity?

    I was there about a month ago. The main couse had a tournment so I had to play the executive or something course and it was not very good. But the main couse looked very good and the setting is beautiful. water on both sides . A beautiful place for a short vacation with a Country Club Marina with good dinning options. The management are very nice and want to attract Ottawa golfers to stay in their chalets.

    When I lived in kingston I drove there (about 45min from kingston) and really enjoyed my round playing the old course. Not the most spectacular layout but because of some of the views of lake and elevation changes made it a bargain.
