    Summer Open Outaouais Golf Club July 8th. 2007

    Thought I'd post this so that you can come out and support you CPGA's.

    The Golf Professionals of the CPGA Ottawa zone will have their Summer Open here, at the Club de golf Outaouais, Sunday July 8th. The first tee time is at 12:30 p.m. and our own Golf Professional, Don Westphal will be in the first group. At 12:46 p.m., Gord Ouimet, our assistant-professional, will also be competing. Marc Gelinas, the General Manager, will be competing in the Senior Division and is teeing off at 1:18 p.m.

    That event started out rather small quite a few years ago, getting bigger and bigger with each year that passes. Many of the guys that play were asst pros, head pro or teaching pro at Outaouais. I am surprised that Pierre Charette isn't playing this year.

    Some great players in there.. Bob Flaro, Scott Johnston.. A friend of mine Bill Minkhorst (hits it a ton).. My roomate is pretty upset he isn't playing.. He couldn't get his shift switched.. His boss Daryl is playing though..

    They were in yesterdays Citizen sports section.

    Scott Johnston won with a 1 under.. Bob Flaro, Kevin Haime, Roger Beale all second with even par.. Thats all I heard on the team this morning.. I would love to see all the scores if anyone can find em..
