    Finally building a component set

    I'm looking to build a component set 3-pw so will be looking at some heads. I'm fine with playing blades but was thinking of playing something a little more forgiving in the long irons and less in the longer irons so I don't mind a mixed set but I'm sure there are sets out there that go from cavity to MB/Blade.

    I'm looking to build a driver as well. I have the perfect shaft so I'm looking for a really really hot faced driver and nothing with any weird sounds like the new nike driver. Also looking for 3w and 5w

    Finally I'll be looking for some super spin wedges. Does anyone have any suggestions about where to start, what heads are good. The price isn't really a big deal

    I have a club guy in toronto and in Van but no one in ottawa. Anyone here up for a project? I would hand you the heads, shafts and grips. How much to put it together? Driver, 3w, 5w, 3-pw and 3 wedges. Thanks and lets hear some suggestions

    There are LOTS of options.

    If you are planning on purchasing them yourself the best bet would be to head to the Golfworks on industrial. They have all of their irons on display so you could look at them firsthand to see if you like them.

    There are lots of other options if you go through the professional club builders that frequent this site. Notables are Wishon (my favourite), SMT, KZG, Golfworks, etc.

    To start you off, if I were to build a new set today, here's what I would go with:

    Driver: Wishon 525-c
    FW: Wishon 949MC
    3 -> 5: Wishon 785HF hybrids.
    6 -> PW: Wishon 550M blades or Wishon 550MC cavities.
    52/56/60: Wishon CX-micros
    Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!
