Bat Caddy - Electric Golf Caddy - Opinions

I'm looking at getting an electric golf caddy. I hate carrying and don't love pulling my two wheeler. I've considered a three wheeler, but for merely three times the price, I can get a remote controlled electric golf caddy instead.

Costco.ca has the Bat Caddy X3R for a somewhat reasonable price, considering it's remote controlled. Does anybody have one, and what is your opinion of this make/model?

Awefully enticing Dan. A fellow that I play with has that exact model. He really likes it. But I gotta know.... any reason why you're selling it? I'll think about your offer.

Let's hear from others that have electric caddy's. Are they the best thing since sliced bread? Or do you find they're just a pain in the proverbial @$$. We've all bought something or another that just didn't pan out. I'm wondering if the electric golf caddy might be one of them?

I just prefer carts. I got a seasonal cart with my membership so I don't use it.

Shipping may cost a few bucks.

I had a Lectronic Caddy for about four years and it was ok but when the three wheelers came out and I tried one of them I was sold. The only good thing about the caddy was setting the remote and aiming the cart and then hunting for balls in the woods. It took up a lot of space although some of the newer ones are a bit more compact. I had gone through a set of wheels and a couple of batteries which ended up costing more than the three wheeler. Also a lack of watching it a couple of times caused some accidental dumpings which could have been very costly. I know a couple of people that have some of the less expensive models of power carts and have had some motor problems. (I don't remember the models they had but both were the same)
    Good luck

Try this Electric Remote Control Caddy...

The new web site is www.parmotion.ca
If you like Bat Caddy, you'll like this one better... it's got more power, a 2 year warranty and it's available this year throughout Ontario...

And if you help find dealers, they'll give you $100 off your own cart. They call it GreenPacer

Beware that 3 wheelers can be dumped, too, and with $1200 cameras on board to boot.

The GreenPacer is actually very good... a friend has one and has no problems with at all.

I have the Bat Caddy XR3 and love it , however I suggest you take along extra fuses when playing just in case your fuse blows.
