Will you still be able to buy the 'box' grooves in '11?
Are they going to be forced to take them off the shelves come '11 or will the not be produced after that? I am assuming they will probably still be around for a year or so after if that's the case. Opinions?

I haven't looked up the USGA or R&A but I thought that clubheads manufactured in 2010 and before would be legal for play until 2014.

You will be able to buy them where they are available for purchase. The manufacturers are just not able to manufacturer any more "box" grooves starting 2011.
I would assume the GT guys are told to say that to try and push the sales of the wedges for people concerned. I can't see them on January 1st pulling all the non-conforming wedges from the shelf. I don't know if they will necessarily go down in price.

Box groove wedges aren't allowed to be manufactured after Dec 31, and the companies aren't allowed to ship them to retailers after that date as well. Retailers can sell anything they want whenever they want.
