Hello all! new to the board and new the city!

Just moved to Ottawa a few weeks ago and I must say, what a great city. I can't believe how many golf courses there are out here and how cheap they are compared to vancover and toronto.

I've been reading the posts for a few weeks now so I feel like I already know some of you and the ones I dont, I hope to get to know.

A little bit about myself. I started golfing when i was 9 years and am now 29 years old. My friends have not been playing as long as me so I play from the whites with them but sometimes they play with me from the tips because they know I LOVE playing the tips.

There are only a few things in my life that I enjoy as much as golfing.

My company (5th year and going strong) and my daughter who is 2 years old tomorrow. I decided to pick up and leave BC when I was 17 and come to Toronto for school. Got married, had a kid and have been enjoying the ride.

I look forward to meeting you, chatting with you and of course GOLFING with you

What part of the city did you settle in? Make sure you keep an eye on the "Ottawa Arrange a Game" thread - folks are always looking to round out groups........now strap in and enjoy the ride

PS - I can tell from looking at your "gear" that you like purdy clubs........because of that you'll want to check out the Scotty Cameron Putters for sale threads

Welcome to the forum. If you think golf is cheap in Ottawa you should come down to the London area where I live. Plus we get the extended bonus golf season here!

Pay no attention to Hacker, that guy will lead you down the road to Club Ho'ing.

Hey welcome to the zoo Silly! Pay no attention to those who have welcomed you in this thread so far, they all like to lead new members down the garden path..... Actually you have to pay attention to Jarred 'JUNIOR' perl caue he is a Moderator and can 'influence' your length of stay in here

I play to my handicap - which is my golf swing btw

Now if you had said that you girls didn't want me slowing you down - that would have been perfectly valid.

But all in all I'm fairly harmless - Sure, sometimes I may look slightly unkempt or have remnants of last nights supper on my shirt but those are superficial things.

I know that I may drool occasionally and sometimes let my eyes wander to where they shouldn't be but no one gets hurt by that.

My wearing 3 day old undies and cheap cologne from the dollar store doesn't make me a bad person either.........

Besides, nothing that I do should come as any surprize to you because you experience on a daily basis with Indio
