Anyone know what the deal is with the chipping area? It's snow fenced off

I was there last night and the story I was told is: Someone hit somebody with a ball while chipping and they are concerned about liability. The are will be closed until they can construct some sort of permanent fence.

I know they re-did the trap...but that's been done for awhile.
The "someone hit somebody" theory sounds pretty close if you ever had a chance to sit and watch a typical afternoon around that trap...more like somebody smash something.
Great range but buy some new balls man...

Message to Kevin Haime...please buy Innes Road Golfland and save us.....we desperately need a KH East.

With all due respect to the Pattersons...
They could do so much more with that place. Maybe somebody should put a little birdie in Haimes ear. His place is great but way too far for me.
I wish the Pattersons would have gone ahead with the idea of an executive course/academy a long time ago. Now somebody has beat them to it. But there really isn't a short game area at OGA.
Its not really very accessible either.

As far as Innes Golfland I'm sure it'll go the same way as the Airport did.
Location,location,location $$$$$$$$$$$. That area is quickly becoming the centre of Orleans.
