Clubmaking course at Golfworks -- Comments
Any comments on the value of the introduction to clubmaking course that Golfworks puts on? There is one next week that I am considering. It's $40 and you actually get to build a driver to take home.
Any feedback would be appreciated.

course
I've never taken their course but have done business with them for over 12 years. You'll probably learn the basics such as regripping, prepping the shafts, trimming the shafts and so forth. I strongly recommend it as it'll save you time and money(better than the trial and error method).

Hello,
I was just wondering where and when the golf club making course you were talking about is?
Thanks,

Sammy. I noticed in the want to buy section that you're looking for a putter. Here's one you should look into.:

Cancelled
The course was cancelled I assume because of lack of participants. I would imagine that another one will be running in the early fall sometime but you would have to call them to verify.

Just spoke with them. There is a School Sept 25 and 26
cost is $295. This is more thorough. You learn how to fit, make irons, putters and drivers. I may give it a shot.
They are sending me a package today, I will let everyone know.

The course is definitley worth taking if you are interested in club making. You will learn the in's and out's of club assembly and repair. The course is 2 days from 9-5 at the Industrial Ave. location. If you want to learn more speak to John O'coin.
The $300 may not be cost benefitial for those who only will dable in it from time to time. Some people are like Slinkies... they're really good for nothing, ... but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs...
