shaft or loft?
I hit the R7 425 with the YS6 stiff S350 shaft and the R7 460 draw with the re ax tip soft Regular shaft. I consistently hit the 460 draw straight and could not slice it or at least only did once in about 150 balls. I did have it pulling left a bit which I can fix. The R7 425, with all the weight in the heel, 2-12g carts, I hit some slices, maybe 4 or 5, but again some pulls, although when I hit it straight it went 20 yds further than the draw. My question is, on the R7 460 draw, would the 9 deg help bring the ball flight down with the tip soft shaft? Would a tip mid or tip stiff shaft help being the ball flight down with a 10.5 deg? I want the draw 460 but I don't want to lose the distance because the ball flight is too high. I'm trying to get the right answer cause everyone at the golf shops gives me a different answer. I understand I am pulling it a bit because of the closed faces on each club.
Thanks
Jason

You're comparing lot's of variables at the same time, which makes it hard.
Were the lofts on the 460 and the 425 marked the same? Note that even if they are marked the same they could be as much as 1.5* different.
If you are hitting the 425 that much further then that particular shaft is likely a better fit for you. The 460 draw likely has a more closed face than the 425 which is why you are hitting it straighter.
So, for a final recommendation, see if you can get the 460 draw in the same loft as the 425 with the same shaft.
