Optimum Setup

I know the guys on tour switch clubs in and out depending on conditions but what sticks do you feel make up the usual tour bag?

3 Wood
4 Wood
5 Wood
17, 19, 21 hybrid
3- Pw
50, 52, 54, 56, 60, 64 wedges

It's different for every player. Most people just make sure to fill the gaps between clubs. There is no "optimum setup" perse.

let me change this slightly then. What club make up do most tour players use. Fairway woods vs. hybrids vs. long Irons ? Two wedges vs. Three? etc etc.

Again, they tend to vary quite a bit depending on both the specific course and each player's preference.

That being said, most of the tour guys carry at least one fairway wood and I don't think I've ever seen one with less than three wedges.
