I hope one of the cars stopped along 416 where the ten cop cars were wasn't you Jarred. They were sure making their monthly quota tonight.
Came through there @ 155km/h, but from around the corner you could see some flashing tow truck lights ... slowed down thinking there was an accident around the bend, probably only got tagged doing 85 by the time they saw me

It was pouring when we passed the trap so I had already slowed down.

This month's quota was definitely going to be met.

As already stated, was a hell of a weekend, and I had a hell of a partner. Thanks Geoff for organizing this and offering a spot to me. Was great to meet everyone and throw a name to the faces of those I hadn't met.

Congrats OG on a great weekend!

    Congrats to the Ottawa team!

We had a great time this weekend and the match I was a part of with Dave and Chris as my opponents couldn't have been more enjoyable. Very well matched group that made sure each side had to play hard.

You OG guys got loads of game - looking forward to the rematch in 08.

This was very true. Lance and I ended up with a dead split of our matches and all of the other pairings ended pretty close in the end too.

The mix of alternate shot/best-ball was cool to play.

A big thumbs up to Ironmaster (Frank) for driving 8 hours from Pittsburgh to play in this event AND Frank, I hope you better not have taken the 2 Teddy Bears from the room when you left the Bed & Breakfast!

    Talking

We had a great match up and it would be hard to find two other players who were so easy to get along with. They made our weekend a real enjoyable experience. Thanks Arkus (Albert) and Golfingoalie (Jerry) for the laughs and the nail biting. And a special thanks to Dave (my new best friend).. He carrried me on 90% of the holes.

Thanks Geoff for putting this team together and inviting me.

    TGN rock! Thanks guys.

Let me add my thank to Geoff and his Toronto counterpart for staging this event. The weekend, which started for some of us on Friday, could not have been more enjoyable.

Jarred, your pictures capture the look and feel of the event perfectly. I was especially impressed with your birdie putt on the 18th hole. You've got game, Junior. Oh, I almost forgot. Thanks for helping fill my change bag!

We really should have had a special award for Frank (aka "Ironmaster") who drove from Pittsburgh to play for the Ottawa team. The man is a thoughtful, kind and funny guy, with a first class game. My only regret is that I didn't have the chance to play a round with him.

Lance (aka "Pinshark") deserves a medal as well. He carried me around the course on Saturday and knew enough to play blind when my wedge accidentally flew out of my hands during today's round. Geoff, you can team me up with Lance anytime. We had a fantastic time. It was quite amazing that we managed to actually play a bit of decent golf while laughing almost continuously throughout the two days.

Lastly, let me thank the two fellows from the TGN that we played against, Dave and Brian. They were competitive, funny, and real gentlemen. One could ask for nothing more.

Sign up for next year, coach. I'm ready!
