With the dry weather we have been experiencing lately I have noticed during my last few rounds that the courses are not cutting the greens. It was not so bad at Les Vieux Moulins on the weekend but yesterday at Metcalfe the very shaggy greens took a lot away from what promised to be excellent conditions. It was very difficult to judge speed when the greens were so long and of course unpredictable. It really took away part of the enjoyment of the game.

I understand courses cannot afford to loose the greens but I am sure most have spinklers for the greens. Am I just unlucky or is this the situation at other courses??
