"Grandpa" Kilbank
Congrats to "Grandpa" Kilbank, who in playing from the whites at Predator in the Golf-O-Max tournament this afternoon, took low net away from all of the 55+ players in the Senior's Division!
hahahahahaha
Farzin took low net for the Men's Division from the blues. Farzin, congrats to you too!
Steve and I won didley squat :crying Maybe we should have tried the reds and tried to win the Women's Division! It could be that the purpose of your life is only to serve as a warning to others.

Hmmm.
The tourney was a lot of fun. It was an interesting setup, you could play a Texas scramble, or all play your own ball. The info sheet did recommend seniors play from the whites, but Dru said we could play whatever tees we were comfortable with, just mark it on the card. Predator is 6700 yards from the blues and 6000 from the whites. If I had played the blue tees, I'd have been hitting driver, 3 wood all day, not much fun.
So I'll accept the ribbing. Since I was probably the only player to play my own ball from the whites, as most played the scramble it appears.
Besides, I got souvenirs and as Colby said, you two got squat
By the way Steve, how many ProV1's are at the bottom of the lake on # 7?
I know, it's a long carry from back there.

not sure Dan
Gee Dan.
I'm not really sure. I know I hit three into it, but I'm also sure I am not the only one that plays ProV1's at Predator.
And like you said it must have been over 225 yrd carry from where the blocks were set up. And for a guy like me thats only hits it 230-240 on good day :crying
But ..... from that point on(it was our second hole), I used only one - actually last one in the bag.
I"m surprised you didnt mention the two sand traps I was in and took 5 shots to get out.I've spent most of my life golfing .... the rest I've just wasted"

I agree that it was a fun day , I also agree with Dan's choice of Tee. Sooner or later we all become "GRANDPAS". I for one preffer later than sooner.

I never said it was the wrong choice of tees. I respect and admire Dan's bravery and his ability to outrun all of the guys with their walkers! :xxrotflma
