Durability
Hi All,
On the weekend at Hammond I noticed my golf balls were continually scuffed or marked up and had notches, scratches, or part of the cover ripped quite often and figured this could impact the flight, and roll of the ball. They were brand new opened that day and were getting banged up quickly. Does anyone have any recomendations for durable golf balls?Lots of yoga pants these days, not enough Yoga!

I do
There is a website which has tested about 35 different balls for distance, spin, feel, durability and cost. You can use the drop down arrows to see which are more durable and with the other characteristics you want. The site shows 3 balls with a 10 for durability. If you do your research you will find the ideal ball for you at this site:

I found mine, the Precept PWR drive.

I'll definitely check it out - THANKS!
Can you explain the rating system? Is a higher or lower number better?Lots of yoga pants these days, not enough Yoga!

higher = better
in general, a lot of the 3 piece balls are softer and thus will wear quicker. the harder 2 piece balls will last longer. wedges also play a role as new wedges with good groove will chew a ball up quicker....I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

Thanks, I really just need to find something that doesn't scuff so easily.

Pinnacle Exception. Durable for sure. This ball is a hidden gem. Soft and decent action around the greens. I hit it pretty straight too! I get them from Knet for $12 a dozen (mint) !
