    Post Maltby head

    Hi,

I'm looking to buy a Wood #3 and that will not cost me a lot of money... So while searching I found the Maltby head on the Golf Works site(http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_MA0036). But before going with this I just want to make sure that Maltby is some good head. Or if you have any other suggestion just let me know(and if there is a web site it would be greatly appreaciated)

Also I'm a real beginner... and a lefty.

    Thank you,
    Martin

Maltby and all Golfworks heads are of good quality. I've played this head, you might want to consider it as well:

    http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_1086

But if you are looking at component heads, you could also try the following:

    www.smtgolf.com

    www.wishongolf.com

    www.versusgolf.com

    www.konagolfsales.com

    All good choices.

If you are a beginner and are looking for a full set of left handed irons take a look at this:

There seems to be a certain brand you forgot to mention.

I have played several Maltby clubs, and they are just as good as any.

If you go into the Golfworks store, they always have a bunch of discontinued heads at huge discounts, a bunch of "previously enjoyed" clubs, and often some pre-assembled clubs that are cheaper than the sum of their components on the web site.

My bad, Zero Tolerance, I forget because I haven't played them.

If you go into the golfworks store Im sure you will be surprised last week they had a whole set of DM pro woods on sale for 29.95 for leftys only built ready to hit with they had steel TT commander shafts. But cheap is the word here.

I find their heads excellent and pretty much within tolerances for loft ,lie and weight.
