I think I've played 12 rounds so far this year, so that comes out to about 216 curse words

You are obviously a good player since your curse ratio to rounds played is so low!

IMO rounds have to be played on Canadian soil for the award Poor pensioners like myself can not afford Florida month long road trips Plus most of us had to work while gbower was down soaking up the sun in FL.

Careful what you wish for Rick, we may need to adjust your totals to account for the shorter golf season here in Ottawa and further penalize you for having more time than us poor working slobs to play..........

I'm the same...I didn't play as much as most people on this site last season, but I'm off to a good start this year for number of rounds anyway...I wish I could say the same about my game.

Definately. All rounds counted for this award must be played in Canada, between April 15 and Oct 30, which is this region's handicapping season. So even rounds in Victoria in March should not count.

    Why not ?

April 1 to October 30 it is then. Even though the season down here usually carries on into December!
Hacker Hacker, I can not help you with the fact you have to work! I have to work too. Being retired requires a lot of time to be used. I mean I have to golf 9 days straight. I have to cut grass, power wash the siding, the decks, golf, golf, golf, cut grass, work part time at the course, golf golf golf. You see how busy my schedule is. Honestly I do not know how I had time to play 150+ rounds when I was working

Right, I had a typo Dan Actually I was trying to pull a fast one over on everyone with that April 1 date!
I am sure I did not play before April 15 this year as it was cold and wet. I know in the past it was always April 1.
So my total stands at 26 as of yesterday. I have to turn it up a notch now that is is warming up

22 for me - 15 on the Slammer Tour and 7 with friends/relatives. Just got off a two week holiday where (including weekends) I got to play 15 times in 20 days.

I never thought I'd say it, but it was nice to get back to the office yesterday. My experiment of playing 9 games the first 9 days I was off was mentally exhausting. Physically I couldn't have felt better, but I struggled on day #8 to keep focused. I slowed down the remainder of the vacation.

It's so nice to be in Ottawa with so many courses to play - one can never get bored, regardless of how many times one might play!!

I'm up to 16.5 now. With the sun setting around 10 PM here in Alberta, it's pretty easy for people who work full time during the day to get out after work and still get in 18. Heck, the other night we started at 6:45 and still managed to get in 18. We probably could have played another 9 before the sun went down.

9.5 after yesterdays round at SB.

Hey bum so how did you find the course? For me, I can say that it cost me lots of balls! Good thing I did buy those PV1 off you cause it wasn't as hard on the wallet LOL.

1st nine was tuff. 2nd nine I stopped trying to make miracle shots and played smart golf and dropped 9 strokes from the 1st nine. But maybe I should have played from the high handicap tee's.
Bad days golf, better then a good days work!

Which course are you talking about?
They are all tough when you are not hitting it well I know, been there and done that a lot this season. Finally starting to get my game back, slowly but surely
