    For tracking purpose (and for Colby's pool) I need everybody's index (not course handicap). Please provide your index as of 11:59pm today (May 30th 2007)

    You and your opponent will be responsible to calculate your course handicap for the day based on the rating, slope and tee box you play (if both players play from separate tee boxes).

    I assume this is to decide the pairings. We should be required to update handicaps all along so the handicap is current on the day of the match.

    Nope the pairings will be decided at random... This is to give everyone an idea of their opponent. You are correct to say that the handicap should be the one on the day of the tournament.

    In Canada it's called a "Handicap Factor"not an "index"
