Geoff, when I have days like this (you saw one of them last time we played) I think it has a lot to do with setup. When I'm hitting it right, aiming left sometimes moves things around into a better position and produces a straighter ball flight. Sometimes if I aim left I actuall have to try in order to move the ball left to right, go figure.

It's a catch 22 for sure, not so much this year but last year I tried to play the fade off the tee with mixed results. Like I said, the best shots sometimes were to aim left and actually try to fade it, kind of defeats the purpose.

Actually had my driver cut to 44" recently, and it was fantastic today. Hitting it long and straighter. Still the odd fade, but not nearly as much right drift today. Only 1 round though, we'll see what its like after a few more rounds.

idon't have an a game but i sometimes bring my D game to the course. On a D day i wish I had never picked up the sport but hey anyday on the golf course is better than a day at work
