Anyone have a couple of free hours???

And want to teach me how to hit a driver relatively straight? Getting real tired of having to aim left to play my tendancy and then have the odd one go dead straight or be pulled a bit.

Just kidding buddy, but you're gone this weekend. Was hoping someone would be able to possibly come out for a round with me Fri and Sat at the Wood.

I could give you a hand once I get into Ottawa. As I mentioned to you before, I'll be in sometime in the next month or two for sure since my sister is having her baby.

    No duster courses though.

If I don't get any help before then I may take you up on it. But I play a duster course, if you will, so you may be out of luck.

I don't even have to look and you're going to say off set. And no, I won't listen. I'm not slicing the ball (ok, maybe the odd one). Just want to tighten up the dispersion a tad. A small fade is ok, but any wind and it travels a little farther right then I want.

He's not blocking it. He might be hitting that slightly off his target line, but the ball as coming off pretty good, just gets lazy about 220-230 yrds out and starts to fall asleep to the right. It's not a purposefully hit fade and it's not a slice at all, but it's just lazy.

I would suggest stepping back off the ball a little to "go after it" rather than falling off of it a bit, which you might be doing. Alternatively, play it off the big toe rather than back heel of the front foot.

That always seems to work for me when I fall off of it.

Now, how to cure my draw/hook, I want to figure that out

Hitting it to 10 inches isn't close enough?

I may play with him Friday, and with the cornerstone of my game being accuracy, I should have him hitting Tee-balls on a rope in no time. Expect to see him charing up the leader-board on the Tour in the next year or so.

Geoff, you know that the best way to hit a consistent draw is to set up like I do with the driver.

Its just some fine tuning I need. Overall I'm pretty happy with my game, just have to tweak a few things here and there and hope it all comes together. And driving accuracy is one of them.

Suprisingly not. Usually my achilles heel. But its been great so far this year. Just some accuracy issues.

I can attest to that. Geoff was chipping close to the pin regularly on Friday. Hey Geoff, after seeing you hit those "bad" drives with a nice draw I wonder if you should actually try to draw it instead of fading?? Those drives were looooong jsut started out on the wrong line when you expected to fade them.

I am no teacher but I would be glad to show you the set-up my teacher thought me, if it helps.

I hit much straighter now than ever before.

Sorry dude, it has to say Bridgestone. Looks like you're out of luck on that one.

I really like my 10.5 J33 460, but 8.5, that's getting quite low, especially with that head. You must hit a very high ball.
