Ottawa Golf Fun Day Of Golf
Ok guys, here is the new date for our Fun Day of Golf . It will be on Saturday June 16TH at the CASSELVIEW GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB

The format is play your own game.
Shotgun start at 12:00 or 1:00 depending on number of players.
skills contests before and after!

Cost is $75.00 per person, this includes golf, cart, door prizes and a great Roast Beef buffet supper, also
- bag-drop area with service
- valet parking (optional)
- designated parking for participants

Please register by June 9th, you will need to contact the golf course directly to register. Mention you are registering for the OTTAWA GOLF FORUM MEMBERS TOURNAMENT

Those of you that already registered, we would ask that you please call the club and register again, just tell them that they already have your credit card info on file (trust us folks, with the problems we have had with this one, it would be wise to register again to be sure)

Once you have registered please send a PM to LMS with your real name and froum handle so he can cross reference the registration with the Golf Club.(very important) You can makeup your own foursome or ask to be put with someone. LMS will put together the groups.

This is thoe one and only reschedule, it will go on this day no matter what folks so please register as soon as you can so everyone can see that it will be a GUARANTEED DAY OF FUN !

OK folks, this is the final date, it is going to happen and it is going to be a great day.... For all of you that are WAITING to sign up, please don't wait.... everyone I talk to are saying the same thing, I am waiting to see how good of a turnout it will be before I sign up'.... dammit, if everyone aits no one will sign up! You will see, if a few people start registering, it will take off and we will have even more than last September! (which was 11 groups)

Well as of right now my wife says "Let's go" So I will have to check my schedule and see what is going on before June 9th.

Long drive for a round of golf.(5 hour drive)So no promises as of yet.
However it would be worth it to meet some of the forum members.

I doubt she would go to the dinner as we would stay in Ottawa and she would not want to drive to the course. I would have to bum a ride with someone from my wherever we stay.

BTW, if I come can I wear my PLAIDSHORTS? Also can you set up a meeting with the PM for me? Might as well speak to him about what is on my mind while I am there!

Would you caddy for Indio? I would place my money on the answer being "NO"

If I come what motel/hotel do you recommend and it would be nice if it was close by a good shopping mall. I have never been to Ottawa so I do not have a clue where to stay, where this course is located etc etc.

Shopping in Casselman consist of a Can Tire, Loblaws, No Frills aaaannnnnnnnnnndddddddddd that's about it. There's a Tim's though. For any of you guys that are hoping to find a decent bar after......well Brian's is so so, and Karina's is a very very very desprate man's strip club LOL

The Comfort Inn is right across the street from St. Laurent and easy access to the highway to Cassleview! BUT, lots of high end shopping available there and could hurt a credit card limit real fast!
