Balls
Need some info,
Now that I loose less balls, I want to try balls that will suit my game. I'm shooting in low 90's, I drive 250+ yards with a little slice all the time and I want to improve my short game.
Can anyone suggest what kind of balls I should use???
Thanks

Here's a primer on the different variations in golf balls:
http://www.swingweight.com/golf_ball_variations.htm
This should help you narrow it down to the TYPE of golf balls you should try out, based on your own personal shot characteristics and the type of courses you usually play. As to which BRAND you should try, you need to test them for yourself.Golf is a game invented by the same people who think music comes out of bagpipes.

If you still slice I would suggest taking lessons.

Of course you should make your own choice, but I've tried and really liked the Titleist NXT Tour ball, which according to Titleist is a low 70s compression ball. It goes far of the tee, but also stops because it's softer than many other balls, which is great for the short game and those of us who can't spin balls back like the pros. Another option I considered is the Maxfli Revolution, but I am sticking with Titleist.

By the way, if you want to experiment and don't want to buy all new, try www.knetgolf.com, who have great prices on most ball models in used but "mint" condition. They really are mint. I've been buying from them for a couple years now. I had 3 dozen NXT Tour's shipped to my house for $65 last week, all taxes and delivery in (mind you that's with a 20% discount they're currently offering on Titleist balls, but you can get that discount too by filling out their little survey and then awaiting an email coupon, or just email them and ask them for the coupon code).
