    12th round of the year!!!!

    What a wonderful day it was today. Got out with a fellow member. Got around the front nine in -1 and was very pleased with the way the game was going. If I missed a green I wasn't worried. And anyone that knows me, knows my chipping has been my achilles heel over the last couple of seasons. Hit the back nine and generally keep up the good play. Minus a couple of bad bounces (anyone that knows Edgewood knows what I'm talking about ) finish the back nine +3 for a +2 73. Best round of the year so far.

    This new style of swinging more smooth than aggressive is paying off nice so far. Hit many solid shots (some even too well with the new swing).

    Oh yeah, to top it off I went back around for another 9. 27 holes, first of the season and it felt great.

    I had more than a chipping issue last year. But thanks. Very promising with some competitive rounds coming up. Just going to keep doing what I'm doing and not over analyze stuff. When the head gets in the way the game suffers.

    Nice round Geoff, congrats!

    I had a good nine goine this evening on the back nine at GH Predator, until I took a 10 on 17. Of note is the fact that the mosquitos were out in full force around the water hazards and some of the low lying holes. A beautiful evening for golf though, thats for sure.
