Never played there, but my bro wants to play. Is it any good? Anyone play this year? All opinions welcome.

Played there on Monday... front 9, new and long grass (slow and bumpy greens) back 9 much better... short grass on greens so a bit faster...I guess couple of weeks and it would be perfect.

Always enjoy playing there as there are not many players after 16:00 (that's when I play) good food as well from what I recall last season.

I'll 2nd the food. IT's great. Played there twice this year. Some greens front 9 were repaired so don't roll that well. Back 9 greens are in great shape. It's a nice affordable coruse just if you play on a weekend get OUT before 10. After 10 the yahoos "it's a nice day lets go golfing" crowd show up and it gets SLOW. Same could be said for any course al most. Don't be turned off by the first hole; it's arguably hardest on the course

Played again today at Metcalfe.... I would add great staff and service...always ready to accomodate your needs..

Metcalf is ok but a little behind Cloverdale, Casselview, Hammond and Nation that are in the same price range.

I've played several times only on weekend morning.
Front 9 greens are repairing condition I don't like those greens.
and traffics are on the course (only in the weekend morning), their fairway conditions are nice and the course structure and layout are good to play.
I think this course is nice and good for average golfers like me.
