    Question looking for a place to play snooker

    Hey

    An old friend has moved to Ottawa and wants to restart our snooker rivalry from university procrastination days. The prefered central / east locations of Dooly's and MacLaren's do not have snooker tables, and apparently there are no longer snooker tables at Ottawa U or Carleton.

    Does anyone know a place with snooker tables?

    I'm pretty sure broken cue would have them but they are a bit too far west. There used to be a place at Hog's back and Prince of Wales near the Shoppers Drug Mart- does anyone know if that's still open?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Try the Orange Monkee at City Centre, if its still open they had some. There was also a place on bank st but pretty rough looking, near Barrymores.

    I seem to recall MacLaren's on Elgin having some rather large tables in the back, but maybe I'd just had too many Keith's and things were looking distorted?

    Definitely the Orange Monkey. My pops is a regular and they have a bunch of snooker tables in the front.

    The Cue N Cushion on Bank is great. Owner/operator is a nice guy, Orange Monkey is also good. Played ta both locations for years.
