NIce to see for sure. Home ice advantage is always good.
One down 3 to go
Gotta luv Fisher's play this spring. Alfie and Volchenckov are also in that category.I've spent most of my life golfing .... the rest I've just wasted"

Special teams were great that game, but they looked pretty shaky 5 on 5....definitely room for improvement. Heatley was buzzing all night, and I was glad to see that Murray was willing to mix up his lines, throwing him out with Saprykin in the second to get him as much ice as possible. Fisher...well, Fisher is just awesome. He hasn't been as consisten these playoffs as in the past, but had a spectacular game tonight. Great start to the series.

not to disagree too much with your comments JohnF but I think Fisher has been one of the most consistent players this play-off season i don't think anyone plays with as much intensity out there, what a great result though , i'm glad to see the so-called experts (tsn sportsnet) once again get proved wrong on the Emery theories (i know its only one game, its gonna be a long series , blah, blah, blah) GO SENS GO !

was a great game last nite... again for the boys!! They have constantly proved this playoffs that they are able to win anyway. They can run and gun with Buffalo, they played tight against the Devils and they proved that as soon as they got the lead that they did, they just shut the game down, it was a great game

Great game, great win for the Sens. Kudos to the Buffalo fans - almost 7000 of them showed up to watch the game OUTSIDE!! Talk about die hard. Hopefully we can do the same in the Red Zone here for Saturday's game.

Someone needs to call 9-1-1 and have a Waaaaaaabulance sent to the HSBC for LindSay. I haven't see anyone Whine like him in my entire life (and that includes Pat Quinn). Sadly enough his players take after their coach

If Ottawa hang on to win this and get the game 2 monkey off their backs, it will be a sweep.

Alfie, and it's not even close.
LMAO!
The Habs fan in me says YES!
What a game, I just loved how Ottawa came back to play in the overtimes. Would have been so easy to just fold the tents and be happy with a road split. This is impressive stuff.

Yep, this is the big difference between this years team and previous teams.
I think that the entire team now has full confidence in their ability to win and as such are playing that way. That is a very good state of mind to be in.
Down two goals early? No need to panic, we know we can score 3 or 4 before the game is over shut them down.

What happened to all the Alfie haters? .... We can't hear you ! (the series isn't over , there's loads of hockey left , they haven't won the cup yet .... yeah , yeah , whatever!)
What a game , apart from the first period , the Sens outplayed the Sabres AGAIN!
Who would have thought

It was like a scene from the Simpsons in my house when Briere tied it up.
Me: "kids, wife, please leave the room..."
Me: "FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF...................."
Neighbour: "wow, that was the loudest profanity I ever heard"
So glad they shook it off so easily and dominated OT, great win, hopefully they keep the boot in Buffalo's collective throat and finish them off in quick time. COMPLACENCY PLEASE BOYS.
