Did some math - The World Record for 1500m freestyle swimming is:

So 1500m in 14min 34.56 secs means 1.5 km in 874.56 sec or 0.242933333333 hours

That's an average speed of 6.17 km/hr

Step #24 lists the distance as 3462 miles which is approx 5540 kms

At an average speed of 6.17 km/hr it would take 897.89 hours to cross the Atlantic at the world record speed which means 37.4 days.

They list the entire trip as taking approx 29 days and 10 hours.

That's impressive!!!
