My favourite line from the article.

Most men would rather go in for adult circumcision than cut an inch off of their drivers, believing that extra length always yields extra distance.

I just added 10 grams to a driver head. The graphite shaft will be 43.5 inches long and I will counterweight 10 grams. Will post the results.

I enjoy the Golf Equipment Chronicles so much, that I went back and read several years of archived articles.

My new driver for this season is a stainless steel Logic Lady Head, 280 cc, 208 grams, to which I am adding 8 grams. My Dynamic steel shaft was 131 grams, it is untipped, and the driver is assembled to a length of 42.5 inches.

I figure this club will have a very high MOI, and will enable me to have a very high percentage of square contact, resulting in fairways hit. The higher flex will enable me to swing within myself, maintaining tempo and balance.
