Holy Cow! Has anyone seen the weather conditions on the broadcast?

    Pretty nasty.

I can not remember how many rounds of golf I have played in winds like that LOTS. But my course is wide open so there is no danger of trees falling on you. As for the sand being blown out of the bunkers, no danger of that either. Hard to blow sand out when there isn't any to begin with

    1. J.B. Holmes took a 6 iron on a 135 yard shot and came up about 20 yards short....

    2. the tv crew showed about a 25 foot put that would normally be a right edge putt, the aimed 8 feet outside the hole and it came back towards the hole to within about 18 inches....

    3. all the soft sand is blowing out of the traps and a few of them are completely empty, down right to the hard dirt.

    It is windy...

Didn't Ernie Els change equipment to Callaway? If so, why is he using Titleist stuff today? His bag and hat are Titleist...

***SPOILER*** just in case anyone is recording the round today...

What a finish! Boo Weekly I guess was scarred so badly by missing that three footer at the Honda that he put away the putter for the last two holes. He chipped in on the 17th and 18th, both for par, and he needed them to stay ahead of Ernie. Els needed a hole-out eagle on his approach to 18 to tie, and almost got it. Looked great until it took its first bounce and maybe got pushed a bit by the wind to end up pin high and 12 inches right of the hole. Awesome finish.

That is ok Indio. I will just make sure to yell in your general direction when we play on the "Richard is coming to town" golf day.

Could have been even better if Els was a foot to the left and in the hole for an eagle on 18
