Well maybe half the crowd are LEAFS FANS looking for some PLAYOFF HOCKEY, so Buffalo decided to some some respect towards them

I know one thing, Detroit has to have the best Anthem singer in the league. Blonde, good looking and man can she sing. I like watching Detroit games just to hear her sing.
My opinions are my own, I do not follow others.

Heh, wife and I said the exact same thing.

"Uhh, which Cdn team is playing?"

It only seems right as half of each team or more are Canuckleheads

Buffalo probably does it because of the large number of canucks who usually turn up to their games. I would guess that a good portion of their fan-base comes from north of the border.

My sister and her boyfriend went to a Toronto at Buffalo game recently and they were back up a ways in the interesting seats...

I guess a lot of the locals booed the Cdn national anthem, and some people around them sat down during it.

The Sabres play the Canadian Anthem at every game. 40% of the fans are from the Niagara Falls - Saint Catherine region.

They will play it every game until they win the cup in game 5 or 6.... of the finals...

    Go Sabres...
