Hi Everyone
This is more of a re-introduction than a true introduction. I joined the forum in 2001 to improve my game, and Dan had invited me to run a mental training aspect of golf section of the forum.
Due to a new son and a career change I lost the time to devote to the section...and the time to golf.
Now that the little guy is older, giving me more time to play and now he has taken a big interest in golf, I find myself back here to pick up tips.
This being said, I look forward to interacting on the forum again and would be willing to answer any questions regarding the mental aspect of the game. Although I must let you know I travel a fair bit for work, so it may take me a little while to answer your questions.

Nope...have to be board certified with a PhD to be one of them. The main difference is that a “shrink” is trained to move the abnormal to the normal…whereas, I work on taking the normal to peek performers.
I have a master’s degree in applied sport psychology. Therefore, I am a mental training consultant. I am trained in consulting with athletes to improve performance from a sport psychology perspective.
Hope this clarifies things, and just to be clear I am no trying to drum up business. I want to improve my game and my son’s by being on the forum. If I can help others from a mental training perspective, all the better.

Welcome back Sean. I'm sure you'll notice all the changes since you left. I'm sure it won't take you long to get re-acquainted with the forum.
