For those of you who got their Scotties restored
I'm wondering whether you've been charged any brokerage fees/duties/taxes when your putter got back from the studio? I think that SC uses FedEx, is that right?

Yes they do use Fedex, but no broker fee was charged. It was just "Sign here" and that's all!

Good to know. Thanks guys! I was worried since some work was done in the US that we had to pay for the service. Obviously not being charged for the value of the putter but for the work and cover/shaft/grip.
Have you sent only the clubhead? Since restoration includes reshaft and regrip, I'm thinking about sending only the clubhead to save on shipping costs...

That's what I did. I think it was $12 to ship the head.

I did the same as Dan. Putter head only. You dont have to worry about a box and a new shaft is included in the restoration anyway. Ditto on what Dan and Saint said about shipping and cost. Mine got hung up in Customs getting into the States but I received it the next day coming back. You will be extremely pleased if you send one in. The Scotty Shop is very easy to work with.

Yup, send the head only. The one thing I did do to avoid customs problems on the US end was mark the customs form 'repair/fix'. That way they know it's not being 'imported' so no problems on the receiving end.
