How Many Pairs of Golf Shoes?
I had 1 pair. The guys at GT were super nice I spent 4 hours trying on shoes. I normally try someone on leave get hoem wear them for 30 min and say these aren't for me.
They told me if I play ~100 games a year or more I should have a few pairs. Made sense!
Picked up 06 Tiger Woods Tour shoes and the Footjoy DrJoy P.R.O's? I think it's spelt like that. Oh ya all the hating I've said on GT I take back. Still can't compete here with price but for shoes it was awesome; also got a 3 hybrid "Paradise" club for 40$! Steal.
Back to topic at hand; how many pairs do you own? Just curious seems like lots of people own as many shoes as they do gloves.
I have 3.

3 pairs for this cowboy. Black/white Etonic G-Soks, Brown Nike SP-5, Black Callaway Oxfords.
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

One pair here. I don't play enough to warrant two pairs since mine dry out completely between rounds.
Before Jarred chimes in, if you're spending serious dough on shoes, get shoe trees. It helps to keep them in prime condition longer.

Well I wanted more so that the plastic injection mold will bounce back before wearing again.
Frankly I'll keep the nicest pair for corporate functions and such. The TWoods will be my day to day. Old Pair will be for awful weather on days that I only went because i"m addicted.

Currently 3 pairs in the lineup. Two pairs of Bites and some G Soks.
Now if the guy at GT says anyone who plays 100 rounds needs a few pairs then I qualify for 6 pairsMy opinions are my own, I do not follow others.

I bought a pair of Etonic G-Soks last year to complement a pair of regular Foot Joys I used to regularly wear. I immediately loved those G-Soks and plan on buying a second pair this year. They're the best shoes I've ever worn (comfort-wise) for that price range.
So for survey purposes, I'm at two pairs. Some time this season I'll go to 3.

I have 2 pairs of the Adidas comfort stripe and then picked up 2 pairs of Adidas tour stripe for cheap a couple of months ago at GT. I guess that gives me 4 pairs.

3 for me. Cart shoes (old footjoys that I can't get rid of), and two for walking. One new per spring to work in.

.......It's not what it appears to be. I have paid for about 5 pair and 5 pair were given to me by my buddy who works in the locker room at a fancy country club. Whenever people buy new shoes and discard their still very nice shoes Bob fixes them up and puts new soft spikes in them before giving them to me. Woo Woo now I'm shoe pig also.

I've got a good 8 pairs. I don't see how that makes me crazy! I've got solid white, white and black, 2 solid black, black and brown, blue runner type, white and brown saddles and just picked up another pairof Addidas white and Titanium today. I think 6 are Addidas, 1 nike and 1 hi-tek. I play a lot of golf and tourneys, so its nice to accessorise. Not to mention, some just don't go with shorts. I'm sure I've got a couple other pairs kickin around, but I haven't warn them for thepast couple of years.
