    cellphone's plans

Does anyone know the best deal in cellphone's plans? I'm currently at Bell and quite sick of all the fees they charge... Now with recent changes to number portability, I am in the market for a better cell plan...

I only use it for voice and voicemail not interest in over charge data services.... any ideas?

    Virgin Mobile

If you're in the market for a new phone as well, I suggest Virgin Mobile. They were one of the main bodies responsible for the number portability. This is because they have great plans, but it's pay-as-you-go, so you don't pay the service fees. For $35 bucks a month, I'm sure you'll get what you need.

314314 - If you have accounts with Rogers for anything then I would suggest rogers. Reason being - the more you bundle onto your account the more you save. I have Rogers home phone, internet, cable, and VIP. I get 15% off all my bills... makes a big difference. the only reason I dont use them for wireless is because I have a group plan at my work.

    hope this helps

I have basic cable and to be honest I am not planning to give any more money to them unless they give me a killer deal with the cell....would like to move to GSM as unlock phones are way less expensive....

    50month x 12 = 600.00 a year to have a cell...it's a business expense but still.....it's 600.00

600$ a year is nothing. If you buy lunch at 5$ a day 5 days a week that's 100$ a month! which is 1200 a year! A cell phone is awesome if you have demands it makes life alot easier.

I have a blackberry I just bought. They really screw you if you don't take a 3 year prison sentence!

I have 25.00 for 200 minutes at bell + voice mail + call display + the no so hidden charges (911 + access fee) takes the plan to 50.00

As per the lunch... where do you eat? I pay an average of 10.00...

    plus parking 160+ month....

so it looks that I will be working from home from now on...

    ditched Bellmobility ....

Well I just ditched Bellmobility... I will be using Virgin mobile (which uses the same technology and network) for now until a better one shows up…I would be paying $22.80 for 200 minutes + some basic features (Call display and Voicemail)….I get to keep my number….
