Re-shafting Callaway X-14

Hi, I am a total newbie when it comes to re-shafting. I called GT the other day and see if I could re-shaft my X-14 PS, they mentioned that it's recommended to send the clubs back to Callaway for them to re-shaft.

Usually how much does it cost to re-shaft a set of 3-PW to steel shaft? There are a few sets of used steel shaft for sales on here which I'm interested. How much would the labour cost for re-shafting (if that's even possible without sending back to Callaway?)

I have reshafted a few sets. Reason GT does not want to do them is:

1)bore throughs(have to be cut to an angle)
2)hosels have to be reamed to accept .370 shafts or shafts have to be split
3)tips have to be plugged.

One word of warning. If you buy pull out shafts and don't extend them the final playing length of the clubs will be shorter than standard.
