yeah, I don't want to sell it, but school > me. I have an LP still, so its a little easier to swallow....although I *should* sell it, epi's dont really appreciate in value like Fenders do.

Guitars dont really appreciate in value unless its a super rare one. like a Charvel EVH edition or a Ibanez PGM.

having said that this axe prolly retailed for like 1000CDN at the time of purchse so its a smokin deal!

well thats one of those rare guitars that just happen to be 40+ years old and one of the originals. they dont make guitars like that anymore

50's Gibson's, pre CBS Fender (60's), 70's Hagstrom Swede's are of a whole different world. I have a 72's SG's standard (serial number stamped in back of headstock) that is worth a lot more then is was when it was new. But nothing like a 59 Gibson Les Paul Sun Burst that recently sold for $50,000.00 usd.

I have the very same guitar, only difference is that is white on yours is black on mine. Gorgeous axe, beautiful strat tone and the neck is like buttah. I'm sure selling is the last thing you want to do..... anyways.... have you tried posting on craigslist.com? Might help you move it to get a little more exposure. This is a fantastic guitar and your price is a deal.... someone buy this. Hell even if you don't play it just looks good. My wife actually likes me having this in the living room for all to see, she never felt that way about any of my other guitars. Good luck.
