    The Impact Zone

Bobby Clampett and Andy Brumer are coming with a new book that will be
published in April. From the table of contents, it looks like it is gonna be
'TGM for Dummies'... I am posting this for the golfers who got intimidated
by the little yellow book (The Golfing Machine)

Looks very promising... Already preordered mine...

    Table of Contents
    Introduction
Chapter 1: The Putt: Dynamic # 1, and The Flat Left Wrist at Impact
Chapter 2: The Chip: Dynamic # 2, and a Forward Swing Bottom (the Aiming
Point Technique, and the Sand Drill)
Chapter 3: The Pitch Shot: Dynamic #3, Loading
Chapter 4: The Full Swing, Dynamic #4, Lag and the Body Pivot (the golf
    swing's workhorse)
Chapter 5: The Straight Plane Line (through the Impact Zone), Dynamic #5 (the
    guiding Dynamic)
Chapter 6: The Impact of Equipment: How your equipment can help (or hurt!)
    your swing Dynamics
Chapter 7: Mental Dynamics: Visualizing the Golf Swing Through the Impact

Chapters in Kanata and Pinecrest both have three copies...
The book basically explains the three imperatives of the golf swing...
    1. Flat left wrist (Clubface control)
    2. Clubhead lag pressure point (Clubhead control)
    3. Straight plain line (Clubshaft control)

The book has a chart that shows
the corrrelation between forward swing bottom and handicap. Very interesting
to say the least... Pros' forward swing bottom is always 4-5 inches in front of
the ball... As the handicap increases, the distance between the ball and the
    forward swing bottom decreases...

Load the lag and lag the load... booooom...

many have been waiting decennies for Clampett to show up in public and daring to use the terms: ''homer kelley, TGM, Ben Doyle, Chuck Evans, etc...'' sounds like its time and it is never too late.

my book is being shipped as we speak.

i've read a few reviews on other sites and seems a keeper.

Mine too. Even if the book is TGM translated into English, it should help a lot of golfers.

    1. Flat left wrist (Clubface control)
    2. Clubhead lag pressure point (Clubhead control)
    3. Straight plain line (Clubshaft control)

Sounds like Mark Evershed. (A TGM man)
