I'll have my decisions book with me and I've taken the RCGA level 2 rules course. I'm also helping with some of the OVGA tournaments this year so wouldn't mind helping out with the rules.

How would we make the decisions on rulings if each "volunteer" is not at hand for the ruling? Should we play one ball under one gathered ruling and one ball under a specific team's consensus?
I'm not a rules guy at all. Not meaning I break them , but I just don't find myself in a lot of dumb positions to need one. Obviously play it where it lies, but the finer points of the rulings I'm daft.
I just don't want to cost the team any unnecessary hardship. So if anyone sees it's my turn to play, work it like the Killdeer (bird) and provide great enough distraction that TGN looks over so I can get my shot off Based on my handicap, that means you should only be doing that about 82 times both days.
Strange birds there in Belleville...

Guys, don't worry about the rules situation. It will all be handled with the rules and format sheet everyone will be getting once there.

A word of advice. You may want to bring your rain gear. There is a chance of showers on Friday and on Sunday. There's nothing worse than feeling wet and cold when playing golf, especially when the adrenaline is pumping. Washing your grips before you hit the road will also help you in better holding on to the club when your lashing it down the fairway or onto the green! Go get 'em boys.

I went to Dick's and bought a pair of rain gloves just incase it pours, I don't think anyone will confuse me with Tommy two gloves though. I hit the ball like one of the girls on big break but not like Tommy

Meh, I wouldn't worry about the weather. I played on Sun in the rain, wind and numbing cold on the hands. The forecast for Belleville is calling for only 40% of rain and highs around 16 or so. Sounds like ideal golfing weather for me. Bring it on!!!!

I don't know if it's been mentioned earlier in this thread but i'm wondering if we're playing from the Blues or the Golds?

We'll be playing from the second back tee decks. I can't recall the colour.

Indio said he was packing tutu's for us in his bag so we can play from the "forward tees"...if we're not allowed to play from those tees, I'm going to research right now which route for discrimination we could claim
Cheers!

For all you OG boys heading for a Friday practice round, be aware that the forecast for today is calling for thunder storms this afternoon. Good luck and be safe.
